Hey Everyone ! I just bought this Little Coin album for my Pennies and Error coins mostly . It holds 240 coins up to 1.18inches which I assume is any coin the size of a quarter . I paid $11.99 and wonder if you think I made a good purchase . It's better than having coins, especially Error coins in 2x2 cardboard holders , no ? I suppose it depends on what those pages and the album are made of that's about it.

If it's all inert PET or MYLAR it should be fine. If it's a plastic with plasticizers you'll find out in a year or two.

If you like it it was a good buy. I would watch your coins carefully in case the plastic does contain PVC. I read some questions concerning this product posed to the seller manufacturer on Amazon. It was unclear if it contains PVC. The response was to the question of PVC content was that it was "environmental PVC". Seller claims it is made from environmentally safe materials, but the responses indicate that English is not their primary language. It may be they do not quite understand the question. Just watch you coins for PVC darkening.

    1. The design is nice if you can trust the materials.
    2. I don't trust Communists (foreign or domestic) to tell the truth about anything.
    3. Why do you have cardboard behind the coins?

Smells like pvc to me. I would return it and search for a product made of Mylar or variation thereof. Why take a chance for $12?

So, if PVC then it will even damage copper ?Or just not acceptable for Silver . I'm about to transfer coins to Album this Morning .

Even if you transfer your coins to another album, will the cardboard transfer, too? Cardboard is chock full of all sorts of nasty chemicals that can damage your coins.

Copper is susceptible to damage from pvc.

Good buy. It is a wonderful inexpensive tool for encouraging children to save.
Has anybody seen the cost of piggybanks in a $ store, lately?

Nice looking album. Hope it's PVC free. That would be my only concern.

Don't worry , I'm only filling it with coins that are VF40 or less . :nailbiting: . Right now there in a old coin album . I figure there better in the Newer Album that Amazon advertises as ...
    • Material:The coin collecting holders book made of environmentally materials, soft touch and no harm to coin.

Do not put any coin in this album. The coin will be ruined eventually.
