Here's another one of the coins I traded for bottles from a lady on Facebook I got quite a few more but I'd have to go to the appropriate post for each coin or is there a place that I can post a bunch of different ones
.....really? I have put bc or ad for dating many times before. OP, these were "do it yourself" slabs by a company out of St Paul. They sold a lot of them on Ebay over the years. The coin does not look bad, and I am sure its real. Actually @galba68 just posted a thread of a similar coin he just found metal detecting in I am assuming the UK. The obverse will be the emperor, and the reverse is devoted to the "Genius" of the emperors. Its a funny thing, they are not saying the emperor was a genius, more the people are wise for having them kind of.
Based on what you have shown, Your coin is a IOVI CONSERVATORI reverse that was minted in Cyzicus (SMK) in the first officina (A). The image is of Jupiter standing left, chlamys across shoulder, leaning on sceptre and holding Victory on globe in right hand; eagle with wreath to left on ground.
I love the conceit of a "VF-30" implying that, after studied consideration, it didn't quite meet the standards for a VF-35 but was clearly better than a mere F-25. Rasiel
