One from 1944 and one from 1912.

I was wondering how I could find out how much these coins are worth and where I could go to sell them.

    Any comments appreciated.

    Welcome to CT!

The value depends on condition. Those particular years of Lincoln cent are not valuable unless they are in "like new" condition. Can you take pictures of them? Do they show signs of wear?

If they are in average circulated condition. The 1912 can Be worth from a dollar to 10 dollars depending on condition. The 1944 is under a dollar.

Something that hasn't been brought up yet is mintmarks... Can you tell us if you see a "S" or a "D" on the coin anywhere, as this will also help determine value. Also, pictures will be needed.

OOO, and before I forget, welcome to cointalk.

By "anywhere" T$ means under the date on the coins, but not an "S" or "D" that are in the other words on the coin.

Post some pics please and you should really pick up a Red Book or some similar coin guide book that will help you identify and understand coin grades, values, etc.

But of course if your dimes do have Lincoln cents on then then they would be quite valuable.

OK I know I'm not being helpful, I just could help myself.

Never mind, the jokes on me. I see that I'm the one who can't read. (Now where in the world did I get the idea he was talking about dimes?)

Well I don't have anything else to offer other than welcome. Pretty much all has been said unless you can share photos to reveal the condition of the coins.

    Thank you for the comments.

There is an S on the 1944 penny. They are both in pretty good condition. Will post pics ASAP.
