    surprisingly, I found quite a few posters asking about this exact coin. The experts they asked said this....

    "On the other hand, none were inscribed SILVER PILLAR DOLLAR (PIECE OF EIGHT) so that would make yours an obvious replica or counterfeit."

    Clearly a copy, Joey. None of the originals has a legend in English on it!

    Yea I figured does anyone know why or when this coin was copied or remade?

    Why:Exonumia or fantasy coin.
    When: Anytime between 1732-2009

    O.K. but even if it's a replica, they might be rare and, therefore, have a certain value on the market...
