Anyone pick any up today? All sold out fairly quickly. I saw $500+ pre-buy offers on the four coin set, so went for it.
Don't get me started.... was going for a 1/10 oz but my professor is computer ILLITERATE so we ended up finishing late... 12:30. But, class was supposed to end at 11:50. what was I supposed to do? I shed a single tear
I know, I was hoping to sell it to have a couple extra dollars for the rest of my semester. I have not had the money to pig out on coins recently. I would have had a little guilt, but I do prefer oldies rather than these lame new coins. And it would be easy..!
I wanted to. but he's an old Vietnamese man (perhaps upper 70s) and would get angry. One of those things. Not worth making him mad. Either way, oh well. Probably will just have to hop onto the next gimmick the mint puts out. lol
You could've told him that you had some minor "technical difficulties" if it was a Zoom class. Regardless, I take it he's one of the types that prefer to have an active video-feed of his students.
Actually, in person believe it or not. Only 3 kids showed up today. Every day less and less come. Plus I pulled that excuse yesterday in a boring English class.
It's an excuse that must be used sparingly. Anyway, I've bought plenty of items during class myself. I use my laptop for Zoom and my desktop for notes and such. My professors are none the wiser about my eBay habits, especially my Russian Politics/American Foreign Policy professor.
You're probably right. I haven't flipped anything from the Mint in years. Is their anything worth flipping?
A dealer was offering $600 over on the four coin set today. I think there will be several more good opportunities this year.
I see sold auctions on eBay up to $5900. It would have been a nice flip, but I'm not sure I needed the heartburn of doing a mid-four-figure sale on eBay and hoping I wouldn't get scammed. And they were probably sour anyway.
I haven't even looked at the line up. I think the peace and morgan dollar could be good depending on mintage, other than that I'm not sure.
