i pull bills from my wallet, either older bills or some nice paper notes. are they worth saving? i've saved bills from the late 60's, to now. Opinion?
I do the same, getting ONES from the bank to search through. I look for old bills, Star notes, low serial numbers, radar and ladder notes, repeaters (I think that's what they're called) with lots of the same number. I doubt anything is worth much more than face value but it's fun and if I don't find a thing they can still be spent.
you can check the info on the bills against www.uspapermoney.info to give you an idea of the shorter print runs.
You can click on serial number tables and then find the year/denomination you want to check. Scroll down to the bottom of the page that opens and get a quick overview of which print runs are the shortest.
