So the Mint has finally announced October as the release date for this set. I'm sure it will be a one per household limit. I'll have to enlist my brother and sister (live at different addresses) to buy sets, too.
They will sell out within a week and quite possibly the first day. I'll be spending my lunch hour hitting the mint website and also on the phone.
Dang, I have school and won't be able to get one. But I guess it is all for the best, I'd rather be healthy and going to school, then sick and ordering a chronicles set. Good luck with getting them!
Second, actually. Back in February it was listed for a "Summer" release. Then it disappeard, probably because of the problem they had with the copper cents. Recently it showed up again on the product schedule with a "Fall" release. Changing "Fall" to "October" doesn't really count as a relisting, just a clarification.
I hope the quality of the cents are better than the ones in the proof sets. They were terrible.....at least mine were.:eating:
Third , it was originally listed to be released in February at the same time as the LP1 cents. Then went to summer, then fall, and I will give you october as not being a distinct change.
I will be surprised if these sets last more than a few hours. Aren't these raw proof Lincoln Dollars going for about $60 now?
