Its a very nice coin. She tried to get ride of the gift that keeps on giving (Land mines) so I am sure she is in heaven at peace now. Traci

Walby I got it on Ebay its a $20 Liberia silver coin. They make some very nice stuff there the type of metal silver/gold/copper-nickel you determine by the dollar value on the coin + it says so on the coin. This is the only example of the Me-262 I ever came across. Research seya only 20,000 minted. Traci

Nice start to the hobby of coins. And I too found the Blue letters difficult to read but as you mentioned you see that better. Odd. Have you had your eyes checked for colors?
As to your coins. Sounds like your jumping in all over the place with types and dates. Do you have a goal as to what you want or would like to collect? Are you going by prices or quantities? Are you trying to start sets?
Many individuals run around with no goals in some hobbies and then loose interest. Hopefully you'll find this one interesting and a lot safer than working with wood.
And I noticed your name is familiar.

Hi Just Carl, I seen that to on name not to many people with are first names, But on coins I started a set that will be easy to start and finish that being Franklin half dollars, so far got the years 1955 to 1963 that are graded by NGC and are all MS 64'S, would like to add a few FBL to set once I save up some cash. Also started to collect silver proof sets so far got 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 and 2008 sets.

Next time push the button on your camera that looks like a flower. I can't remem:mouth:ber the name of it, but it will focus in on your coin and give you clearer pics.

Formidable craft, quite deadly indeed. Thankfully these were produced later in the 2nd WW as opposed to the beginning......

Carl, look on the closed auctions on Ebay for what these have gone for in the past couple months. The price you paid is about the ave. lately. I got 2 sets for slightly less a couple months ago. I collect proof sets and mint sets from the last fifty years and have almost completed my collection. The 1999 clad and the 2001 clad are strange sets on ebay. though all the books show them higher, they tend to go low on ebay. Though, I have seen 3 or 4 go for under $30.00 and the next go for $50.00 no rhyme or reason. good luck on your collecting!!!:)

My dad was a tailgunner in a B-24 Liberator with 32 combat missions in WW-2 . I often asked him about the German jets & like the Folkwolf 190 & the ME 109's, the most you ever saw was a flash as they screamed by. His favorite situation was to watch the contrails behind his bomber, the Germans would hide in them & try to sneak up on the American bombers, Pop got real good at waiting & watching for their tails to pop-up in the contrails & then it was lights out for the German aircraft, those twin 50 calibers packed quite a punch. He also said a little luck didn't hurt either:)
