This was given to me by a neighbor of my daughter. He got it after spending so much time in one of the CONN. casinos. I feel since it was free everything is okay. The crux of it is this comes from The Franklin Mint. I also feel that the last five cents were replaced with ones of lesser grade and large mintage years. The '43' steely is in poor grade. The Franklin Mint lists this for-------- HANG ON----------------------------------------$90.00. wHAT IS YOUR OPINION?
I think this would be a great demonstration piece for a 2nd or 3rd grade class room or a cub scout collecting badge. It actually looks pretty nice.
Well even if it is worth $90. I bet it cost him at least a grand in losses at the casino. Freebies at casinos are the kiss of death. Traci )
