Nice find wish I could really search through quarters but I can't buy enough rolls for it to be worth a hunt.

Only takes 1 roll potty dollar. I wouldn't be searching quarters right now If it wasn't for the Casino! Cashed out that night!

When I go to the casinos, I always grab a roll or two of quarters from the cage after playing some "for my laundry" it's the least they can do is give me a roll of two even when it was the great coin shortage of 2020. also at least I know I'm leaving with $10 or $20. LOL. been a while since I've won anything significant, a hundred or so. while spending at least that is the norm.
If I won $500 of $1000 i'd be hitting the banks for quarters with it no doubt!

Nice rim cud ,actually it may just qualify as a cud as it does leave the rim.

The edge on that quarter was most likely spooned down. 20210310_095103.jpg

Those are not spooned by the means you site, those are actually coins that have revolved around in a large commercial dryer from a laundromat for a period of time. I only know that because I used to work for a company that owned laundromats and I serviced the machines and found these things pretty often.

The spoon ring was very popular back in the '60's and early '70's. I remember Hippie street vendors in San Francisco making them, among other hand made jewelry at the time.

So where is the cow that made that quarter while chewing it's cud...?
