Lincoln Error or Damage?

    I understand bag damage and have seen similar on circulated coins. This was in an LP1 roll from the mint which caused my suspicions. Opinions, please!

    Hi,

    I think we need the question narrowed down a little bit and then perhaps a slightly larger picture if possible. What is it that you would like the opinion on?

    Your coin has a some kind of damage does not look like that happened at the mint looks like somebody did that, but since you said from a roll makes me wonder some water spots on the fields

    Maybe the Mint's rolling machine damaged it. Something's got to roll 'em.

    Don't believe they are water marks. Here's some closer shots. Probably the machine. Oh well! Batting average for finding errors is bout .125. LOL.

    I'm not talking about that area of the coin the upper right side heading northeast.

    Ya, those probably are water marks/spots. no disrespect meant!
