Are these even worth bidding on??? Im currently interested in german coins. I would also like to know if people are making some of these that are fakes, And if they are how to tell if they are not. http://cgi.ebay.com/GERMAN-SVASTIKA...in_2?hash=item230277169b&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
Probably not fakes as they are circulated, lower cost and more than one sold in this auction. If you should get them or not, depends on your goals. If you just want to have as many German coins as possible, may not be a bad idea. If, however, you want to assemble a really nice collection, go with the one at a time, seen in hand(or with really good pics), high quality option.
Okay thanx Ugh its just kinda hard because some of these 1937 ones are so shiny its like how can they be real?
Uh-oh. From that page: "This auction is for a Nazi German Silver 2 Reichsmark made in 1937 with very rare mint mark 'F'". Very rare? Sure, in the German Empire, the "A" (Berlin) was the most common mintmark. But if we look at the 1937 mintage figures for this coin, "E", "G" and "J" are all rarer than "F" ... Christian
Carl, I love the way the Frenchman advertised his Lot of coins "Nice Coins" just made me chuckle. Yeah, they are real, because they are not worth the time to counterfeit even in Red China. Have fun. Traci

Here is a sweet coin. Its from Liberia, a nice Silver coin of the Me-262. What the Americans called "A blow job." We do have a flair for words. Traci
