I have found more West point Quarters then Silver Quarters. While CRH. I wonder if a W quarter in decent shape is worth as much as a 1964 in the same shape?

Why don’t you put it to a poll? Put me down for no if you do.

Gem W are worth more than circulated silvers. The W over all are much rarer than the silver Washington’s as well besides a couple

Yep. Agree with the fellows. The “W” quarter is more scarce than a silver quarter. Shooting from the hip a West Point quarter will bring ten bucks and a common silver quarter about five bucks.

Yeah finding a W quarter is move valuable than finding silver but I don't know if that will always be the case. Silver could at some point pass the Ws or Ws drop below silver.

I've found more W quarters in my change than I've found 64' and older quarters in my change. Over the past year, I've come across in total four W quarters in my change. Over the course of the same time period, I've not gotten even just one silver quarter in my change. While we are at it, over the past 35 years I've come across in total zero 64' and older quarters in my change.

However, about two weeks ago as I was entering the local grocery store, I walked by the coinstar machine and there was a 1959 dime in the rejection bin. SCORE!!!!! :)

Of course a W is scarcer. Only 2 million of each minted. Silver had been out of circulation for over 55 years. Every once in awhile you find one but its easier to find a W in change. All it takes is your time to look at what you have in hand.

In change yea the Ws are probably easier, partly because a lot of the companies sort out silver quarters. They'll probably both be basically non existent in the not to distant future as more and more of the W get pulled by collectors or just get ruined

This past Saturday, March 13 2021, I received in my change the fifth "W" minted quarter that I've come across in my change over the past year or so. This quarter also happens to be the second "V75" that I've got in my change as well.

I've been finding silver dimes in Coinstar machines with increasing frequency. 5 over the last couple of months, and it's not like I hunt for them. Never any silver quarters though.
