1826/5 large cent

    Must be the day for overdates. This one looked pretty decent for $49 ish. F-12 or so?? The sith star pointing liftoff coronet tip gave this one away. I think I can see the die chip above star 13 too. Numismedia has the F-12 value much higher than $50. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Very-Nice-LARGE-CENT-1826/143966318488

    should have said sixth star pointing left of coronet tip.

    Nice find. The sellers photos are too dark for me to tell if it is the overdate. I don't know enough about them to say it's not. It looks a little different than what PCGS shows. When you receive the coin perhaps you can post clearer photos. Thank you

    It IS the overdate, Key feature is actually on the rev. The 1826/5 (N-8) is the ONLY variety of 1826 that has the point of leaf CENTERED between the S and O. The ebay coin does have that.
