I never bought anything from HSN, although they had 1995 DDO's PF-68 for about $80 a few months ago. Most things are about double in price. Mike Mesak does hype, but I have never heard him say anything but the truth when it comes to the facts about coins.
Hsn Mike Mesak doesn't lie but the hype he spouts is a lie. Especially about the gold layerd quarters along with the P&D quarters in the set he sells being worth $416.00 in other locations. He tells folks the Delaware Quarter is selling for $15.00 in some markets. Wonder if that's the Bangladesh Market. I would not want to be one of his victims. I read somewhere, I think it was Coin World that the US Mint considers gold and plat layered coins as defective. They also consider colorized coins as being defective. Jim
H.S.N.(Is this a joke) Ya great place to buy coins if you want to pay 20%- 45% more than actual redbook. I watched the show when they were selling S.S republic ( I think) liberty seated halves for about $900. They even admitted they were cleaned. Thats more than a mint state half costs , if you can find one. Great show. I watch it sometimes for humor. Im still laughing. CLAW
The TV Shows are Great!! I would never buy the coins.. but if you are involved in Sales.. then watch this Show...I have never heard so much factual presentation combined with Sales geared motovational talk in all my life...Kudos to their Sales Trainer! RickieB
