2009 D Lincoln Penny error on MALLETT

2009 D Lincoln MALLETT error

Anyone see any errors where the mallet head on the Formative Years penny is really weak or non-existent as far as details? I opened a US mint roll dated 04/13/09 and found several of these. One mallet head is completely detail-less and several others are very weak in details. Any idea how that happened? what are they worth?

A 'struck through' such as grease would cause this. Some people pay extra for this.

I also found something interesting going on with the hammer a while back.

 

I suspect a grease filled die to create what you have.
