    6...and that's just because I'm feeling a bit picky with Morgans (I like them and collect them so there is a bit more bias).....the coin does look like it could have been a 66 (I've seen worse in 66 holders) but a 65 is fair too (there is some chatter and the 80-82 San Frans are often treated more conservatively)....I would split the difference and call it a 65+

    It very accurately shows the correct orientation of the slab, since the slab shot is all about the slab! :p

    Gave it a 9. I agree that the coin looks under-graded, at least by contemporary standards - and I flatter myself in pretending that's something I understand. Nice coin.

    As are we all. Wish I had a buck for every little nitpick of mine that nobody else seems to understand... ;)

    Yes, the character of a coin that had to work for a living. You can't beat it.

    Needs a hole for vest attachment, to make it a 10.

    I wouldn't mind a holey one for the vest, but ideally, that would be a love token Morgan with some interesting engraving on it. ;)

    But, it is Love of the coin depicted that prompted my opinion. After all, the date/grade is rather common as to availability, but to hole it and attach to a vest....that is the ultimate personal coin fashion statement. Then it would be a 10, for individuality and courage, and be able to be viewed by the masses for the artistic quality much more frequently, rather than stored someplace, out of sight and mind.

    I am pretty handy with a Dremel. let me know what you want on it.

    @lordmarcovan :

    I thought this one was worth the hundred bucks postpaid I gave for it. PCGS trend price is $165 as I type this, and shows a recent price increase.

    That was a a well spent $100 in my opinion.

    ...Well...I have been wrong about Morgans so many times I rely on others judgement...that being said, I voted 10 because it is in such great shape. I thought 65 was low, too, and it looks PL to me as well. PCGS would have awarded that part if it actually were. All in all, a Beauty...a Morgan jewel. What’s not to like?…Spark
