I though about this for a thread a few seconds ago when I cough myself doing something I do often; googling monarchs paintings, it sounds funny but I even save the ones I really like Some of my world coins where selected simply because of the depiction of the monarch; the Victorian jubilee bust comes to mind for me wish prompted me to start the 1887 set. Long story short, post a nice painting of your favorite monarch depicted on coins: I love every coin that was struck with King Edward VII on it: edited The Hogmouth , Leopold I Holy Roman Emporor : I love his face on the coins , on some he looks rediculous. edited Almost looks like me the day after they took out my wisdom teeth: Any Louis XVI coin is great ... just look at the shnoz Here is a fantastic painting of King Louis XVI of France Edit - sorry, but posting pictures that are copyrighted is not permitted.
