When ordering from the Mint today I asked to speak with a Supervisor & asked about when the Lincoln Chronicles would be comming out , I told her that when the Lincoln silver dollar come out I'd only ordered 1 and planed on ordering more later but they SOLD OUT fast:yawn: anyway this Lady told me that the United States Lincoln Coin & Chronicle Set will probably be out in late Oct. & obiviously sell out fast, so be patient & act fast when they come out , on the mints website I see that the Lincoln Chronicle set listed in the fall , anywhoooo If this has been posted already I missed it so I wanted to pass it onnnnnnnn:high5::goofer::hammer:

The Lincoln Chronicle Set will contain the 2009 Lincoln Proof Silver Dollar & the 4 2009 Lincoln Proof Cents which will be 95% copper, but could not get the cost out of them. : ) or the limit you will be able to purchase & there will be a definite limit you can purchase.

A little birdy I know, who has a friend at the Denver Mint, told me they will limit the sets to 1-3 per household and probably be in the range of $54.95-69.99. I tend to think it will be on the lower end of that range for price and upper end on the set limit per household.

That is the four pennies alone. The Lincoln Chronicle Set is the four pennies plus the silver comm.

Although I own both an unc and proof Lincoln silver dollars, I haven't kept up with the aftermarket on these. What are they going for now? I guess a quick look on ebay would give the answer, but I rather not switch over there now and would rather hear it from the gang over here on CT.

When looking at recently completed auctions on ebay the proof lincolns appear to be going for $65-70, though some I notice are unsold. I think the fanaticism of these might have wore off a bit as a while back they were going upwards of $100+ if I remember correctly.

The Lincoln UNCs appear to be selling in the range of $55-65 which also is down from where they peaked earlier in the year.

So yeah the novelty of these appears to have weared off a bit. The folks who flipped these and got big bucks were probably lucky. But once the chronicles set comes out there are no more lincoln silver dollars so that might cause another spike in prices, who knows.
Those who buy the max allowable from the Mint will be doing some quick spinning and probably making a pretty cent as it were. I bet you will see prices for that set go upwards of $200- just wait.
