I know there is a counterfeit 39, but I think die markers give it away.

Got a couple more boxes of halves. The last 4 or 5 boxes yielded no silver, only NIFC's and once in a while a commemorative coin. Well I got about half way through the first box and while shaking the coins out of the roll so I can re-use the roll, out pops this coin with an eagle on it. I start looking at it thinking it was just another commemorative coin. Flipped it over and I stared at it for a while trying to think what it was. I was dumb struck that I had just found my first Walking Liberty!!! And it was in decent shape at that! I been thinking of finding the normal Kenney or Franklin half. My mind was not on a Walking Liberty. Now on to the second box. 20210308_155114_resized.jpg 20210308_155057_resized.jpg

Holy crap! Are there any luster breaks on that besides "roll friction"? Looks like both dies had been working for a long time before this one was struck; I'll bet it really glistens in-hand...

That walker is in very nice shape! I wonder where it came from? Somebody's collection, perhaps?

That's what I was thinking. Sad that someone might of took it from someone's collection.
