there is actually a star bill or two in there just to be clear, we're not selling anything yet, might not ever. we just want to learn what we've got, and then we'll decide as a family what we're doing with it. But nice to know there could be buyers right here!
Do you Have the 1895 Morgans because....that can change the entire way you look at your collect http://www.coinfacts.com/silver_dol..._morgan_dollars/1895_morgan_silver_dollar.htm Ruben
We're all just poking fun! XD But anyway, the anticipation is killing me for these pics. *returns to coin sorting*
You suck...I mean really ...you do suck. Can you post a photograph of your 1895 Morgan? Ruben PS - I wasn't TALKING to you but post your picture ANYWAY
I think someone caught the bug... :smile As others have said, Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry about your losses. I suspect that your father is VERY pleased that his collection is being used as an inspiration both for your kids and you. I suspect that you'll find that the coins are worth more to you than they are to your siblings. Hopefully you'll find a way to make everyone happy.
It is one of the key dates, but not as rare as the 1895 Morgan. Check Heritage for some recent auction prices. Ruben
Farns... Welcome to CT... Please make sure to post the images of the Notes in the Paper Money Section. There are a lot of us there that can be of assistance to you. Images are a must....do not try to press out any creases or erase any marks on the notes!! The inking error I am very interested in seeing as well. The Red Seal Notes are Legal Tender notes...if any have a STAR after it's SN they are very desirable. (I know this is really old thread, but hey, I hope to see the notes if he is still around) Regards, RickieB
