I am amazed at the huge disparity in pricing for the 2004-s Proof Sacagawea. I have seen $3.40-$25 or more. Based on the mintage figures I can find this looks to be the lowest minted proof so far. As far as proof 69,70 etc. I have collected since 1974 a Proof is a Proof people.Slabbed coins of proofs only needlessly hike prices in these lower tiered common coins.Just my thought. What do you think fellow numisists?
Based on the below pop report from PCGS I dont see any reason for the 2004 Sac's to have a premium over others. 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 all have lower populations than 2004 PR69DCAM Pops 2000-S 9,940 2001-S 12,767 2002-S 7,148 2003-S 7,569 2004-S 8,567 2005-S 11,155 2006-S 6,067 2007-S 3,761 2008-S 2,569 2009-S 1,445
