I am having a terrible time inserting and removing coins in both the Whitman and Dansco Folders without causing damage. I would appreciate any tricks of the trade as I want to continue using folders for some of my collection.

After reading previous posts on the subject, I decided to wait until I have a whole page of coins for the dansco album so that I can insert them all at one time.
Just to avoid sliding the plastic across the coins more than one time.
Apparently it's pretty hard to avoid putting microscopic scratches on the surface of the coins.

If the coins are circulated place the folder on something soft...such as a bed...then with your finger press them in...that will make the folder bend a bit and the coin will slide in...if they are BU or if the folders are Dansco I would use gloves...the kind that ayou can find at a coin dealers.

Some folders have direction's. Tuck one side of the coin in 1st then push down. I alway's recommend gloves.
