my daughter works at a bank and brings me home some very interesting money. i have 1 1966 $100 bill and being new to this game, i have no idea what it is worth. i have no way to scan this bill, my scanner is down. it is ( i think ) in good condition. it has one fold in the middle. it has no tears or wrinkles. the corners are all intack. it does have the red seal and red serial numbers. it seems crisp except for the one fold. i dont know if i should list the s/n on here or not. i also have 2 1934 $10 bills. they are a bit more worn, but still in good to fair shape. one is a 1934 C. the other is a 1934 A. if some one could tell me if i have something special and if i should pursue having them appraised that would be great. thanks JD
The $100 is definately a keeper $125 in fine condition per standard catalog of US paper $$. Post the letters in the black seal and serial # complete with letters for a general idea of value. Welcome to COintalk.
thanks for the info. the seal is red with no #'s in it. the s/n is A 00460238 A. do you know if the $ten's are worth anything? do you know of a book that i can pick up somewhere. i also have some silver dollars 1896 and 1898.
Comprehensive Catalog of US Paper Money is a great refrence. A guide book to US coins AKA redbook is great informational, although the prices are higher than most folks realize. Post info on the $10's you have as well, I'll see what I can do. Sorry, I was confused about the letter in the seal.
one ten is 1934 A serial number F31710655A the other one is a 1934 C S/N 67679059B. thanks for being so helpfull to the new one on the block.
Hello and welcome to CT. I for one would like to know more info on the $10 Notes. On the 1934 C is the leading letter a "B"? If so I would like to discuss this note with you.. Please feel free to PM me... Regards, RickieB
