2001 D Strike Thru. Found CRH.

Looks to be a Strike Thru to me. What does everyone else think?
(I believe it was a type of string, Seems like there is a trace of Green wherever the string was also) I also noticed a circle on the reverse that looks a little odd. Please if much value to this coin. Thanks .

Deep gouges/scratches?from getting stuck in a coinstar.You could have something there.

 

Ya, This coin Didn't get stuck in a Coinstar. Machine. Might have been in one though.

 

If it is a strike through my guess would be strike through wire.But really you don't know %100 what it is exactly unless its certified most of the time.

 

You are correct! I'm thinking some sort of Thread. I'm not even close from being an expert. Let see what Paddyman98 says. I will trust his judgment. He says PMD. I will let it go in the wild.

 

Looks like there was a bundle of String or Thread where United States (*of*) America. Looks like something was bundled or rolled up in a bunch.

 

I changed it to wire or possibly a staple i don't think its strike through thread they are mostly found on proof coins and are quite rare.

 

I have no idea. But I did notice at the bottom on the Obverse. Why is the object going over top of the lettering and underneath? Hmm!

 

Very interesting. I would hang on to that coin.
