A '64 Roosie is a coin. It was and still can be used in commerce. That 1/10th oz piece you pictured is not a coin. It is bullion. A 1/10th oz silver bullion.

Sorry, I can't buy into this logic.

I bought some to give with my usual coin gifts one year. It was a way to give everyone a little piece of .999 silver. I paid a little more than spot for them and the kids loved them.
These aren't the same kind I gave, but the reasoning could be the same and this one wound up in someone's change.

Quarter and a penny stuck together on the grill. A little warm water and dish soap and degluified cleanly, easily and quickly.

    Found quite the score today.
The reject chute was jammed up when the teller was changing bags for me.
She unjammed it and gave me everything that came out. About 50 coins total.
The kicker was an ancient Roman coin from the emperor Claudius II Gothicus from ~269 AD!

It makes me wonder what made it into the bags and what ended up in the interior reject cup.
