This is really a shame. I see no Bush Texas or Clinton Arkansas.

But honestly, no one's going to buy that

It could be considered a PCGS error in the future perhaps as there has always been some doubt over exactly where Obama is from or indeed born.

This really makes it hard to say that I'm from Hawaii. Such an embarising representation of our great state.

I don't think this is a big deal at all. Its not like they are painting Obama's face on the coin (though I'm sure someone else is, somewhere). The slab just has a little extra decoration for those who choose to purchase it.

I would prefer not to have anything extra on my slabs, and so I will speak with my wallet, and not buy it.

It could end up being a novelty item if Obama's claims regarding his place of birth fall through, but I don't see that imparting any significant value to the coin.

The Obama coin party has crashed, whoever had that slabbed took a big loss it appears. With no grade and just the label it seems only a political novelty, lol.

Guy's talk about the coin/slab by all means but leave the political comment out of it :D Now personaly I think it is just the company trying to cash in on something and making a ugly slab even less desirable (I wouold say the same no matter who they placed on it)

You gotta wonder how many slabs pcgs & sellers would have sold last year with "history in your hands" and put George W. Bush's pic on a 2008 coin lol, lol.lol, lol, lol

There is, in fact, no doubt whatsoever. That conspiracy theory has been totally, completely and unquestionably 100% debunked.

Razor, take it to PWRE or ask for the thread to be closed. Please don't spread your politcal opinions here.

That may be a PCGS slab but I highly doubt that is a PCGS Obama sticker. It must be an aftermarket sticker as there is no coin information whatsoever on it.

Ill abide by De Orcs decision to leave political comment out , but to those who say the idea i presented has been debunked i suggest you prove it in an off discussion thread.

I'd give them 25 cents for it, then break it out and toss the slab in garbage. :D

Uh, I've got one. (needed it for the slab) And it IS a PCGS slab, and the sticker IS inside the slab so they were slabbed that way by PCGS. Someone just threw a lot of money at them and they said SURE!
