    hi,

thank you to the Masterswimmer himself! Wish I could swim :(

I'm not sure why he specifically selected me. I haven't spoken much to him at all before this, so i was pleasantly surprised.

I will say, that message does not come off as humble, and I mean this in the most respectful way. I think everyone is a little weary of sending things your way after a recent scenario.

    Good luck in the contest!

    I will! :p

just realized I had not added a picture to my entry... and is it truly an entry post without a picture?

Not coin related, but I find it interesting. My great-grandfather naturalization. I got ahold of the original about a year ago from my great aunt, and was glad to copy it for my records. George P Saltis Naturalization front.jpeg

umm, my fav coin that I’ve owned has got to be my 1882 SHIELD NICKEL -NO RAYS- that I just recently acquired and it is more beautiful and all original than I could’ve ever imagined it would be! (Purchased online, obviously! Lol)

Thank you very much for the giveaway! I think two my favorite coins would be the Mercury dime and Walking Liberty. Here is one of the harder dates I just got for my album. Its a 1921 Mercury dime I traded for that I would grade G03. 1921 Merc.jpg

I maybe set the timeline on this one too long. But just a reminder that you have one more week to place your guesses.

Entries are all in. I’ll tabulate and check my list twice. And winners will be posted after I have my coffee to avoid any boo-boos.

In the end I believe that I was the winner because I had the pleasure of enjoying everyone’s favorite coins..... But alas a victor must be crowned!

The challenge was to guess the closest without going over. A late entry by @mrweaseluv took my breath away. He was closest, but over by $1.50. The victors are:

Winner of the pile and awarded the shield nickel is @masterswimmer with his guess of $148.50.

Winner of the SBA’s is @CoinJockey73 with his guess of 22. He will receive twelve SBA’s.

Thanks for playing along and PM your addresses to me and I will get your winnings on the way!

Holy crap! Lol! That's nuts! Thank you so much! I'm grinning like a schoolgirl over here! Congrats @masterswimmer, and to everyone who participated, everyone is a winner. Well, on a technical level, i won more than you all did, except @masterswimmer, but everyone is still a winner, right?
