The coin shows better from a distance that a close up. Like I said in my post I only purchased a few enamells in my years of collecting. And again sold all of them but this coin. but as ulgy as you think I could sell it tonight for $750 to a buyer in Ft. Lauderdale Fl. With no questions asked. I am not a lincoln penny collector I do have one started and never finished it. For as many years as I have been collecting coins I could have the best collection that money could buy. I sold 4 1955 DDO 2-0-ll+V rarer than the 1-0-l and one of them was the only ms 65 in RB ever graded! Again T money to each their own... don't go putting down a person choice of what they like to collect. IE to me collecting baseball cards is a joke but thats my opinon...but I have friends who love collecting sports cards... my view is that topps can print as many errors or a player card... etc...fact is in collecting coins or paper money there is only a certain amount of coins struck or notes printed. but to those who wish to collect sportscards if it makes them happy so be it!

No where did I put people down for what they collect.
I am simply expressing my opinions, that I don't like jefferson nickels, and those ugly enamelled coins.
You buy them, that is your choice, no where am I saying that you can't collect them or shouldn't collect them.

The 1943-S is interesting. It is in an older holder, but I pretty sure it would qualify for 5FS. The 1943-S IMO, is by far the most difficult war nickel to locate with rainbow toning. This one is extremely attractive even though it doesn't really compare to some of the other war nickels in my registry set.

I love that blue color - I don't see it too often, and this nickel has a lot of it :hail:
