@eddiespin . I have the coin . I put it away shortly after my post . I'll dig up again in the morning around 8 a.m and look at that stalk again and post it again if there there is something funky going on . Okay ?
Okay, I couldn't wait til 8 a.m . I took two more pics and conclude that there is nothing going on . Just very well struck wreaths . Enjoy. Two angles , two lighting angles / as always Comments welcome .
@eddiespin I have reposted the image from earlier in the thread. The original op looks totally different to me. Where have the bubbles and dots gone from around the end of States and America and especially the large dots to the left side of C and on the right side of T of Cent
There’s something funky going on, look at all who already see it. We just need clearer crisper detail to see if we can figure it out. And if you look closely this isn’t just confined to the tips, just those screwball lines are. Good to get us the whole stalks.
I replied before I saw this. So those lines we all saw were an optical illusion? I’m just trying to explain it.
I was looking at the left wheat grains in addition to the lines at the tips of the stalks. I took the liberty here. Look at how broken up those are in first pics. The second is how they’re supposed to look...
SensibleSal66...what do YOU think after all the "fantasy grades"...have you decided to have it graded...?
Weird. On my phone, I can't see those two dots in the second photo. But now, on the computer, I do indeed see the dots by the C and T. Also, that mark in the center bottom of the O in ONE is still there. So I believe it is indeed the same coin.
In my comparison, the OP's second and last photos are the same. Screen resolutions can influence visual perception. I entered both into Photoshop, enhanced clarity, and saw the same markers: - The mark in the "O" is the same. - The dot to the left of the C is visible on both coins under high resolution. - The dot to the right of the "T" is visible on both coins under high resolution. - The scratch beneath the "N" is visible and identical on both coins. - The two scratches between the "E" and "T" are visible and identical on both coins. The difference in the righthand wheat stalk is pixelation. I remember watching a news interview with a guy wearing a striped tie and there was the weirdest pixelation effect on it. Maybe I'm just confused about which two coins are being compared. If that's the case, please disregard this comment. LOL. But if we're talking about these two photos, my opinion must be that they're of the same coin. EDIT: Photos of the same coin but the photo on the left is very low resolution and quite pixelated.
Sadly, the left photo is too lo-res to match up every marker that's visible on the right-hand hi-res image. On my PC, I can (honestly) see the nicks on the "N" and the "T" that you pointed out. But I cannot match up the others. One can also see the rim hit at the ~2 o'clock position between the "M" and the tip of the Wheat Stalk on both images. For me, there are sufficient matches to say both are images of the same coin, in spite of the fact that it is not possible to match all markers due to the differences in resolution. But, hey, I could be wrong.
