    Some members here gifted me some nice coins and it made me feel so good inside that I wanted to pay it forward. robec's toned cents collection makes me drool and I knew I had to get that coin to him. I also love toned coins mostly Canadian 50 cents and caribou quarters. Date run from 1937-1967

    So I found 2 pennies from the 80s. One has something attached to the s in trust and one has something attached to the 9 in the year. I've never really looked for error coins before so I need a little help maybe I found something strange maybe I didn't maybe someone can help me please

    That will depend on the year, 83' and newer will be copper plated zinc cents. The plating causes all kinds of striking issues. Half way thru 82 and older are made of copper (bronze). These cents are a solid composite, The best way to tell is post a full size photo of each side.
    If you want the in depth answer, Maybe some sarcasm, tough answers start your own thread. Get to know the community, Sometimes a rough bunch, but we are all family.
    Here is a copper 80's cent, too bad for the reverse.
