I am failry new to collecting. I bought the Cherry Pickers guide and spent several hours going thru my coins. On my 1959 proof set, the reverse of the Franklin half dollar is either double die, or double struck. I took it to a couple of dealer friends and they tell me it is double struck.

This is a full mint proof set.

    1. Does the double strike add value to the Franklin?
    2. It this more valuable when kept in the set, or individually?

    Thanks
    Steve

Just keep it in the set for now and please post a pic for us to see. Sounds like an interesting coin!
