Rays and arrows seated coins.... In my view the sexiest coin to come out of the US mint... These coins tend to have huge swings in value from one grade to the next. I would call this one somewhere between VG and fine and I would say maybe a $65.00-$80.00 piece. Arrows and rays seated coins are quite popular. Especially to me!

VF20, IMO. Obverse: Pitting on body; wear on head, cap, shoulder, thigh and right arrowhead. Reverse: Wear on head, wings, upper part of shield, puncture to middle arrowhead and scratch on body at lower left of shield. Not VF30 or better, IMO.
    NGC VF35 example. Winning bid, 2/24/2021 = $99.00

If his coin does make VF, it is easily a $125.00 or better coin. And you may very well be correct. I tend to visually grade photos of unslabbed coins toward the weak side. Just is my habit. But you are probably closer than I am.

Dang... I wish I was the bidder. I LOVE Ray’s and arrows coins and have been known to offer outrageous prices for them.

@Randy Abercrombie I meant no disrespect and don't want you to think so. I forgot to include the sale price in my post. :)

What did I miss? Am I supposed to be offended by something?? Heck no man. Not me. We offer our best educated opinions here. That’s all. I didn’t feel the least bit disrespected!

The wear on Liberty's head puzzles me and definitely detracts. The rest of the coin looks VF to me. Nice coin though!
