How would it grade?

    Just picked up this Morgan. Did I fall in love too quick?

    yup, what Steve said, unless the pictures are missing something: like luster.

    My guess based on the photos would be around AU50 or AU53, seems to be a bunch of hairlines.

    I'll concur , AU-55 , But if you like it that is all that matters .

    Hi,

    The wear is actually minimal, it is what the Coin World ads call "BU" usally, but are really sliders AU-55 to AU58. It would need to be shown to have excellent luster and minimal hits/hairlines to make the AU-58, so I would say AU-55. The color balance seems to be off. Does your camera have a way to set color balance( temperature) to the type of light source you use? Some, you just fill the view finder with the image of a white piece of paper and press a sequence of buttons. That would get rid of the greenish tint I see, and we could see the toning a little better.
