Cost to have a coin slabbed

    It seems like NGC is the cheapest mainly because they do not charge handling and shipping. I find this hard to believe but I couldn't find it anywhere on their web site.
    Their cost breaks down as follows:
    Membership: $39
    Grading: 12.50
    That's about it. Couldn't find any more charges unless they are hiding them which I suspect.

    PCGS
    Membership: $49
    Grading: 14
    Handle/ship 17.60

    I used the most inexpensive route to get one modern coin slabbed. Am I correct that I got the costs right?

    Oh, yeah.
    NGC does charge S&H.
    Look at their submission form and you'll see how to calculate the amount.
    I believe they have the form online at their site.

    yes, I'm sure they charge shipping, but I can't find it either.
