Ok, last one for now :)

Is this a strike through error?

The L in LIBERTY looks like an I, and the “IN” is really weak.

    Thanks again! 89776977-F3B2-4F8E-8B19-E01A476ECDF7.jpeg 8851F9E3-8366-4482-841B-9A2322C6153C.jpeg ADA3A2CA-1002-424A-AF21-0F3E88DBFEDF.jpeg 69DB8DCC-6A1C-49E1-85E6-A9F16301FD48.jpeg 77F6E502-A95D-4703-8F47-F484635B2504.jpeg B0C763E9-ED01-4139-B428-5E40ADB176EF.jpeg C24615E4-6131-4944-A963-DC8F903E9DA0.jpeg 8907BA85-D86C-49E6-ADCC-74B8C22AA57D.jpeg

It looks like it was the result of a grease-filled die.

Struck through grease... So yeah, it is technically a strike through, but it's very common. I wouldn't pay extra for it. You can find them all the time if you know where to look.

Good eye @Luckyr. Debris from grease and metal, filling part of the die is my guess. I'd certainly put it in a 2x2 and keep it for educational purposes.

The few I've kept like that one I've labeled "IIBERTY."

hey Luckyr welcome to CT. you got a good eye catching that. it wont be long before you spot something good. keep this one for future refrence. my thoughts on this coin is also a grease filled die.
