1995-D Double Die?

    I couldn't find any place online or in any magazines about it, but there seems to be some doubling to the lower-right of the 9 and 5 in the date and the D mintmark, as well as on Lincoln's forehead and the R in the Liberty....

    Yeah, that's kinda what mine looks like. Cool.

    It looks like playing split, ffsd which is a form of doubling where the first strike lightly impresses the coin and the die moves before the full image is impressed.

    Does this mean that the coin is only worth its face value then?

    Some collectors pay premiums for these, I'm not one of them.
