I should think that anyone chosen to be a Mod could be kicked off the team at any time so it should not matter if they asked for the job or were picked.
Welllllllll - that's kinda like saying yeah, you can throw gasoline on that fire, we can always put it out. 'Course what ya don't know is what damage might occur before you get it out edit - here's the thing Mike. The way we do things has been working pretty dang well for 18 years. And, I'm a strong believer in the old saying - if it aint broke, don't fix it
Amen. As an ordained minister, I've gotten to the point where I'm suspicious of anyone who WANTS to become a bishop in one of our synods. Steve

The Great White Father would see to that. 2. As for being broke or not, I guess it depends on what forum you are reading. For some reason, CT has some real haters out there. Stay Safe.
Unfortunately, the website's revenue-generating side may not give a damn about the Off-Topic segments even though we have a loyal following and pretty much police ourselves. Like I may have mentioned...been there 16 years, and I think 1 time I got a 24 hour or 48 hour "time out" like 12 years ago. Yet I got a month ban for "site bashing" by noting how ridiculous it was to delete a post of mine that was very gentle in criticism compared to past stuff. The mod in question used to be a poster there who annoyed many of us. Race-obsessed, too, which is never a good thing.
