    I wonder if the medal should read Hanover?

    I can't tell from your picture, but you might want to check the 1/2 reale for a 80/79 overdate. That would increase its value.

    Then it would be English. :) It's Hannover in German. But this medal actually says Manöver which means a military "maneuver" or "manoeuvre" depending on one's orthographical preferences ...

    I don't think it is 80/79 overdate. So is it worth about 20$?

    Assuming it's genuine and not harshly cleaned - yeah.
