Just wanted to publicly thank Shatzy on here. I started a thread a couple of weeks ago about my son starting to show an interest in collecting and Schatzy generously sent him a roll of all different wheaties to get him started. It was really appreciated. In my book there's nothing better a person can do than to do something positive for the next generation. So here's the cutest kid in the world and his new 41-74 folder almost filled.
Very cool Schatzy. Did I mention my 4 year old just needs a 16-d dime and a 14-d cent to make his day? Seriously, very generous and nice!!!
:mouth: I don't even have those slots filled. I'll buy a 1916-D replica for him! That book is looking great!!
You bought him a 41-74 Album but where is he going to put all of those 1916-1940 coins that I sent him.
Boy Schatzy, I liked you a lot before, now I think you are an even more amazing guy! I really admire people who help kids in this business since there are so many who just don't seem to think there is a need to foster the next generation. If we adult coin people don't pay attention, our kids who are already so influenced by many other interesting hobbies and ideas, will never know the amount of satisfaction, enjoyment, education, and investment potential that comes with collecting coins. So good going, Schatzy, you're a wonderful example for the rest of us!!!
He has all three of them. He has around 20 or so holes filled in the 09-40 folder and the 75 and later is almost done. We've been doing a lot of roll searching lately, something I haven't done for a few years.:smile
Wow that was a very noble move. Great job Schatzy. I tried to get my kids going and they showed interest but my wife put a quick stop to it as the coins are dirty and she does not want them touching them.
