I've been working on my coin photography lately, and I'm going to post some pictures because I need feedback. For my "studio", I use a 6 inch Targus tabletop tripod. My camera is a FujiFilm FinePix V10. I also use a 5X Magnivision magnifying glass. For my lighting, I use a 8 inch Lights of America cabinet light. Pictures of equipment are below. I will post my test pictures after this.
Here are some of my test pictures. The ones zoomed in the most are really grainy. Is there any way to avoid this? Thanks for the feedback!

You don't always have to zoom - sometimes when you crop the picture you can still get a good picture of the area you want. To me the best was the licoln reverse - all the others seemed a little fuzzy. The bell wasn't bad, but the others were a little blurry to me. That is a good start.
