i was working so many hours a day, over 80 a week that I used some of the extra money I earned and bought. Now that I'm retired I'm discovering what I bought. Most of the packages I've never opened. This was in one of them that I opened today. Four 1/4 oz. 200 years anniversary Canadian Gold.
It looks like you got maybe $30-40 of gold there, lol. Seriously, why do they bother to put a dollar amount on gold coins these days? Each of those is well over 40X their face value right now.
Sure hope those holders are non PVC. Not sure about Canadian coins from the mint, or were those third party sealed?
Can you imagine some fool spending it? But they do usually list the gold content somewhere on the coin so I guess that makes it as though they’re saying just kidding about that face value!
I just checked, JM Bullion is out of stock and they want over $450 per piece. Maybe I should sell them mine. Lol
Remember the guy that was trying to pay for a MacDonald's order with a 1 oz AGE and they wouldn't accept it?!!
Those are some serious sheets, Yak! I got I think 6 or 12 notes. But the 1976 ones were everywhere back in the day. I think I recall I got mine at a golf outing for my two holes-in-one on the back nine. Or maybe it was just a consolation prize for buying the tickets for the outing, yeah it rather might have been that.
