This is the second time in the last few weeks that this has happenned to me with ebay purchases and I am starting to feel guilty. Now, granted these are low dollar items but i still feel kind of guilty. a couple weeks ago I received a 1993 proof set I bought on ebay and when I went to add it to the collection I noticed that the set in the box was a 1991 not a 1993. I contacted the seller and told him i would keep it since I have 2 grandchildren so I could use 2 1991 sets.
I told him that i still wanted to buy the 1993 set and wanted to know how much to send him to get the set. He said it was his fault so i should keep the set and he would send me a 1993 set in a 1991 box at no charge to make it right. I thought this was good of him and would definately buy from him again.
Yesterday i went to the mailbox to get a 1969 mint set I had ordered and lo and behold the seller sent me a 1968 set. Again, low dollar but 40% silver. I contacted him and said I would send it back and again he said to keep it and he would send the correct one at no charge. I am starting to feel bad about this.
It does show that there are some really good sellers out there in amongst the bad apples!!!

It's fantastic that you can still find nice deals and great seller on eBay. It's even better when you get free stuff ... twice !! I wouldn't feel guilty buddy , I would feel great !

I wouldn't go ahead and call it karma though...

Sure it's 40% silver but so is the 1969 set. I'm not surprised he just had you keep the set, the value is low enough that it isn't worth the extra postage.
