HI, I was wondering if selling thru the auction listings work. The reason I ask is that I usually sell a couple of items thru Ebay and recently the items I've sold I've had problems.Nothing serious but it seems the people buying from me are new to coin collecting and expect they coins they buy to be perfect
The auction description is a perfect place to provide them with a honest evaluation of the coin and warn them about any problems. If they then have problems, they shouldn't be buying on Ebay. :goof: As to on here, peeps sell all the time and seem to do pretty good. :thumb: Ribbit
rjbeck: :hammer: I agree with Handsome Toad "Your description should be accurate," and the picture (for sure '...worth a thousand words...') should show both sides of the coin that you are offering for bid. Both are important and should disuade any problems with the outcome of your finalized transaction. Clinker
I really believe that the quality of pics of coins for sale is directly linked to the end bid. I can't stress that enough. It cuts off any post sale, I didn't understand issues and can drive bidding competition. Good advice above on descriptions, these folks know their stuff.
I assume you are refering to the auction listings here on the forum. It just points people to the Ebay (or other) auction listings you are running. But like others have said, your listings need a good description and good pics.
