I have searched several stores and can only find 5x. Any suggestions without having to order over the internet.

Maybe the coin stores I went into don't want you to look that closly at the coins. Only found 5x there.

They're all over the internet ... amazon , ebay ... and many more. did you try googling "buy a triplet" you can find one on the first 3-5 stores :D

  8. I just got a loupe with three 5X lenses (So I can magnify 5, 10, or 15X) from APMEX for 8 bucks.

Radio Shack has a 3 lens 5x-10x-15x loop. I like it. They also have a miniature scop that is inverted 60x-100x. To be honest the scope really sucks, but it is only $12 and the image is clear, just hard to navigate on the coin. I can actually see the cracks on some of the letters due to heat and pressure that splits the lettering like a potato. It's actually very common on coins.

Loupes are all over the place. I wonder if the poster was looking for a straight 10x magnifying glass large than 2", as I was. I don't think they are available though, at least not over 2". If there is..I want one.

why don't they product the 10x with a 5" lens. it is good for older people. maybe it will be very expensive. but i will buy it.

What you really need is an antique microscope, in order to look at antique coins. Edited. The coins look so much better with old glass. Traci

I was just wanting something to quickly scan over coins while roll searching. I think I miss a lot of stuff by eye or with the 2" lens.
