Could someone identify the value and the mint mark of these coins for me. I have no knowledge about straits settlement coin
KM # 26 .5848 oz silver On the 2nd picture (1907) I can see an "H" mintmark below the neck of King Edward. That is from the Heaton, Birmingham mint. I can not see a mintmark on the 1908 coin. In case your interested the Straits Settlements consisted of what is modern day Singapore, Malaysia, and British North Borneo.
Straits settlements during the British Colonial reigns in the earlier days consist of Penang, Malacca (Modern Day part of Malaysia) and Singapore. British North Borneo was not part of the the Straits. There were 2 mint during the period. One by Heaton, Birmingham (H) and the Bombay mint (B) King Edwards coins issues was between 1902 - 1910
