Oh yeah I've heard that one before. Oh and by the way, stella told me to contact him, so I did and now three days and no response...
Stella I must say that as person, as a part time eBay’er, and as a numismatist, I am disappointed in both this thread and your postings. Why people feel compelled to lie or mislead is beyond me. I am sure you know that people would have responded and given you their thoughts on the grade of these coins without any of these shenanigans… So, to me, adding the deception is doing nothing less than insulting those that have chosen to help you. IMO postings such as yours are why eBay has become the cluttered gutter it is rather than potential value it should be to the numismatic world. Who knows what truths you have told, or what lies for that matter; I certainly don't. I do know that this will be my one and only post in response to your threads. If and when you can convince me that you are being honest I might respond to your postings. Until then, Godspeed. Just remember Stella, you reap what you sow...
Jim, There is a similar parable about a snake. I think the snake was injured and asked a passerby for help. The passerby took the snake home and nursed it back to health. As the passerby was releasing the snake back into the wild it bit him. The man asked the snake why he bit him after the man saved his life. The snake replied, "You knew I was a snake when you picked me up."
Hmmm, I think one of my college girl friends said that once. But she had "toned" scales and was a AU-58 slider . Jim
Honestly, untill I saw this thread the other day I thought that stella had been banned along with Isaiah. By the way, I had never heard that parable, It fits this topic perfectly.
