Im sorry why is this so expensive? http://cgi.ebay.com/1884-CC-MORGAN-...rms=65:1|66:2|39:1|293:5|294:50#ht_500wt_1098
Still, you normally see an MS64 go for like $230.00 with GSA (sometimes) Normally around 200ish for a 84' CC
Hello from itsallngoodtime nice coin my 2010 red book list MS63 $265. I've watched these coins go up every year and I believe it would be a good investment in years to come, nice toning by the way!! Thanks itsallngoodtime Bob
I have been offered an 84-cc Nixon dollar, trouble is it that it is at best a ms-60 lots of dings in the major fields, they want 175 for it, and that is a lot of dough for a coin that looks like every other coin coming out of the press hit it. The thing is if it was not in the gsa holder I doubt it would even be considered a 60. I am not sure what sort of premium if any attaches to the nixon dollars, so I am holding off on buying it.
Prices are pretty flat up to MS-64 or so. Some higher end MS64 may go for $300 plus. I think this was a fair price ( Considering the small photos). It has a very nice appearance with some toning and I think it my well be close to the MS64 grade. I would have probably only gone to $251, so I would have been outbid. JMHO. Jim
