  1. I have found a nickel like this before , I'm not sure if DD or Die Deterioration or MD I just noticed it isn't the norm . Thanks Screenshot_20210223-221240_Photos.jpg Screenshot_20210224-141157_Photos.jpg Screenshot_20210223-221301_Photos.jpg

  4. Yeah I don't think I really hold onto it have had any reason to Hold onto most . Atleast the ones I've posted . Unless it's Pretty or Cool to me Thanks Buddy lol

  5. What's "Nav double" yeah They are all pretty bad shape , it's just for identifying and distinguishing between . Also , how can one tell slight Hub Doubling vs MechDD . Are there subtle Hub Doublings that are not easy to tell if it's Hub or Mechanical or Deterioration ? Or is it Discretion and or Experience ? I post whatever stands out to me whenever I come across new versions of differences I observe and then ask . Thanks

NAV was answered in your other post of the quarter and you got that. I think that any time we closely examine a coin under magnification we can find oddities but in most cases they are nothing special and of NAV. I stopped trying too hard to find things on a coin with a microscope and if I can't see it with my naked eye (well, I do wear glasses) then I would pass on it. As you mentioned, keeping coins you like the look of, regardless of value, is what makes this hobby fun for me.
