I do a lot of searching on e-bay, most comparing coin prices. I found this last night item # 270432008291, I do not understand how coins can be sold at this price, check their store out please give me some feedback.

Well, there are two parts to the question:

#1: He doesn't expect to sell at that price, and usually doesn't.

#2; He is very misleading with his descriptions, a G-4 piece will usually have a description like "One person may grade a coin as a VG while another one grade it as a FINE so I will leave that up to you to grade the coin based on the scan"

so He is very slick, not actually mis-grading, but misleading.

and, most of his completed sales go for more money.

he is "raising the bar" so to speak. A few years back I sold one out of my collection, which was" Good" but also "chop marked" to a dealer at my local coin show. He gladly offered me $180. , which I accepted readily. Throw a $100.00 bid on that if you are so inclined and see what happens. Are you Irish?

Is that Indian from India or Indian from those people that used to own all this. Many now do again. :smile
So what is the problem with that ebay thing. Did you notice it's free shipping? And who knows he may well deliver it to you personally.
Now wait until this action is over and you'll find some idiot that payed $50,00 for that thing.

He had about 5 pages in his store, the first coin free shipping, then a $1.00 for every coin you bought

    He is a power seller.

I see nothing wrong with his auctions. He listed all of them at $0.99 with No Reserve so what is the problem.
How can letting the open market determine the price be wrong?

I;m not going to bid, but at this point I'd throw $100.00 at that and see what happens.

I've bought coins from this seller before and never had a problem. And he does sell alot of coins (approx 2,000 a week). Most of his auctions start at .99 and the market decides the price. That's the way it should be!

There's alot of "power" sellers with a ton of negatives... this guy is actually pretty clean.
